Product terms for using Clipper to record, keep, and share your own work.
App scope and license
These product terms cover the Yuzu Clipper app for iPhone, operated by Justin Sun as part of Yuzu Patch. They describe use of the native capture tool and its optional Yuzu account connection; they do not change the terms of other Yuzu Patch products.
Apps obtained through the App Store are licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement unless the app listing provides a custom agreement. These product terms supplement the applicable app license. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Your recordings and permissions
You retain your rights in the recordings and other material you create with Clipper. Using the app does not transfer those rights to Yuzu Patch.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to record and share the people, music, performances, and other material in your clips. Use Clipper lawfully and respect other people’s privacy. Do not use it to harass others or infringe their rights.
Temporary capture and saved files
Clipper can save only history captured while it is running in the foreground. It cannot recover a moment from before capture started. Changing cameras or zoom preserves available history; changing the microphone starts a fresh current buffer. Pause and clip review can preserve finalized pre-pause history while the app stays open. That history expires as new footage replaces it, another pause replaces it, or the app leaves the foreground. It is not a saved clip.
Keep Clipper open until saving completes and check playback before relying on a clip. Interruptions, storage limits, device heat, and recording-segment transitions can affect capture or output. Voice recognition may miss or misunderstand a command.
Saved clips stay in the app until you delete them or remove the app’s data. Export important clips to a location you manage. Clipper does not provide a hosted archive or a recovery service for deleted local clips.
Accounts, sharing, and privacy
A Yuzu account is optional. You can capture, play, trim, delete, and export clips without signing in. If you connect with Google or Apple, use an account you are authorized to access. Connecting does not add a cloud clip library. Signing out ends this Clipper session; it does not delete the shared Yuzu account.
Delete Yuzu account in Clipper Settings removes the shared account, its Visualizer onboarding profile and feedback, and hosted creator shares. Saved Clipper movies and exported copies remain. For an Apple-linked account, follow the reconnection or separately confirmed manual revocation instructions. See the iPhone privacy policy for account data and deletion details.
Saving to Photos or choosing a destination in the system share sheet creates a separate copy. You control those actions. The destination’s terms and privacy practices apply to its copy, and deleting a clip in Clipper does not delete exported copies.
The Clipper for iPhone privacy policy explains permissions, local processing, optional voice control, storage, and deletion.
